This OMRON CONNECT PRIVACY STATEMENT (“Statement”) together with the OMRON CONNECT END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (“EULA”) and any additional terms of use incorporated by reference into the EULA, applies to your use of:
This Statement sets out the basis on which Omron Healthcare Singapore Pte Ltd, having its registered address at 438B Alexandra Road, Alexandra Technopark, #08-01/02, Singapore 119968, (“Omron” or “we”) will process personal data which we collect from you or you provide to us in connection with the App and/or the Service. Please read carefully and agree to the following terms to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. If you are below the age of 13 years, you are not permitted to create any account on the App or Service, access, or use the App or Service.
The App can be used as a stand-alone mobile application that only has local storage. If you reside in a certain country where we provide the Service, you can also choose to connect it to the Service by creating your personal account for the Service.
If you use the App as a stand-alone mobile application without using the Service, your Vital Data will be stored on your Device only. All the data stored by the App on your Device will be encrypted with up-to-date encryption techniques to assure that your personal data cannot be easily accessed and/or read by unauthorized third parties.
Regardless of whether you use the App with or without the Service, we collect and process the following personal data about you and your Device in accordance with your consent to this Statement. Please note that, although the provision of your personal data is not mandatory, you may not be able to fully use our App and/or Service in case you do not provide your personal data to us or do not consent to the terms herein.
In case you use the App without the Service, we may collect from you the following “Attribute Information”, “Registered Device Information”, “Support Information” and “User History Information”.
In case you choose to connect it to the Service, we may collect your “Vital Data” and “Account Information” (other than password) below additionally.
This App requests permission to access your Device’s location information (“Location Information”) to enable Bluetooth communication with your OMRON healthcare product (“Product”). However, we don’t access, collect or use the Location Information. The App accesses the GPS information on your Device as precise location and the approximate location collected by Android OS on your Device. You may disable the permission to access the Location Information at any time, but the Bluetooth communication with the Product is disabled.
By selecting “Allow all the time” in the location permission setting, the App can transfer data from your Product even when the App is closed.
You acknowledge that we may obtain your information from third parties, including our service providers and their alliance partners, where such disclosure has been permitted by you through the privacy settings of such third parties.
We may, without your consent, collect, use, disclose and/or process your personal data as permitted under applicable data protection laws and regulations.
We use personal data held about you for the following purposes:

We may disclose or provide Customer Information to third parties for our sales, marketing, development and/or research activities by de-personalizing it, such as statistical information obtained by processing Customer Information in a manner that will prevent specific individuals from being identified.
Your personal data may also be transferred to and used in countries outside your country, such as Singapore and Japan and Vietnam, for the purposes described in this Statement. We will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the applicable legislation.
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, use and disclosure. All the personal data you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Any data transfer will be encrypted using Secured Sockets Layer technology.
Unfortunately, the transition of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Service; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal data, we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.

Please note that we cannot meet your requests regarding your personal data which is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you (Anonymized Information), as it is impossible to specify which personal data is yours.
We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose, personal data from of any person below the age of 13 (“Child”). A parent or guardian, or any person validly acting on behalf of that Child (“Authorised Party”) however, may give consent on behalf of the Child for the collection, use, or disclosure of the Child’s personal data. In such a case, the Authorised Party warrants and represents that it has authority to act on behalf of the Child, that all personal data of the Child is accurate, and shall assume responsibility for the interpretation and use of any information or suggestions provided through the App or Service on behalf of the Child. If we have reason to believe that we have collected personal data from of a Child without the appropriate consent, we may delete that such personal data, or take such steps as necessary to rectify the matter, including to seek consent from a parent, guardian, or any other person validly acting on behalf of the Child. If you have reason to believe that we have collected any personal data from or about of a Child without the appropriate consent, please contact us using the contact details set out below.
We only collect, use, or disclose personal data of any person above the age of 13 on the basis that such person has sufficient understanding of the nature and consequences of giving consent. However, if we have reason to believe or it can be shown that such person does not have sufficient understanding of the nature and consequences of giving consent, we may delete such personal data, or take such steps as necessary to rectify the matter, including to seek consent from a parent, guardian, or any other person validly acting on behalf of the person. If you have reason to believe that we have collected any personal data from a person above the age of 13 who does not sufficient understanding of the nature and consequences of giving consent, please contact us using the contact details set out below.
You may request to cancel your account by using the ‘cancel account’ function within the App, by contacting the support service by using the ‘contact us’ function within the App, or by sending an email with such request to Healthcare-SG@omron.com. When your account is cancelled, certain personal data will be deleted. As a result, all your remaining data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
We will retain your information as long as you keep the App and/or your account for the Service. After you stop using it and cancel your account and/or uninstall the App, we may retain only your Anonymized Information.
If you provide any third party’s personal data to us, you represent and undertake that you have notified the third party of the purposes set out in this Statement for which the third party’s personal data is collected, used, disclosed and/or processed by us, and such third party has given his/her consent to the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of his/her personal data for such purposes.
The App may contain links to and from our partners and affiliates. If you follow any of these links, please note that they have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected by them. Please check their policies before you submit any personal data to them.
We keep this Statement under regular review. It may change and if it does, these changes will be notified to you when you next start the App. The new statement may be displayed on-screen, and you may be required to read and accept the changes to continue your use of the App or the Services. If you choose to not accept these changes, you cannot continue to use the App and the Services.
